Ethos Digital was created in 2025 as a Public Benefit Corporation to participate in the Next Round of the gTLD program. The company’s mission is to enable developers to build sustainable and resilient internet services for the global community.

The purpose of the corporation is to operate a carbon neutral domain registry and provide free-of-charge registry services to nonprofits and open-source projects
Why we’re entering gTLD Next Round:
We see new gTLD Program: Next Round as unique opportunity to create a new namespace for the developer community to utilize. Our mission ensures that the company will operate the perspective gTLD with zero carbon impact and also that foundations and open-source projects can utilize the extension without any cost from Ethos Digital.
